Quileute Nation selling items inspired by 'Twilight' series
The Quileute Nation of Washington has started a website to sell items inspired by the Twilight series of movies and books.

Some of the items on Twilight at Quileute are hand-made by tribal members and include necklaces made by students at the Quileute Tribal School. Other products include tribal canned salmon and clothing.

"Traveling across our great country and observing other native tribes commercially marketing their wares in a successful and respectful manner motivated us to explore the concept of promoting culturally appropriate authentic Quileute items online," Chairwoman Anna Rose Counsell-Geyer told The Peninsula Daily News.

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer based parts of her books on Quileute culture.
