An Ojibwe woman who came forward to talk about her relationship with embattled golfer Tiger Woods pleaded guilty after she was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving.

Irene Folstrom, a member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Indians, was pulled over on Monday afternoon in Bemidji, Minnesota. She failed field sobriety tests but refused additional tests when taken into custody, The Bemidji Pioneer reported.

On Wednesday, Folstrom pleaded guilty to gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI for refusing to submit to the chemical test. She was sentenced to the three days in jail she already served.

Folstrom attended Stanford University with Woods. She worked for the National Congress of American Indians in Washington, D.C., before returning to Minnesota to run for public office.
