Letter: Media doesn't focus on minority Tea Party members
"Regarding the letter on Wednesday about minorities not being a part of the "tea party" movement, "Many tea partyers rude, crude, racist":

I, for one, am an enrolled member of a Native American tribe in Arizona. My wife's ancestry is Hispanic, with a mix of African Black blood.

When we have been at tea-party functions, we have not been the ones who the liberal media picture as members of that incredible patriotic group.

Their focus is on the kook and loony hangers-on as representative of the majority in the crowds. It is a purposefully skewed and biased denigration of a large and vibrant group of American patriots who have become alarmed at the invasiveness of the government in their lives."
