Yurok Tribe to use $120K grant for transportation study
The Yurok Tribe of California has been awarded a $120,000 grant from the Federal Transit Administration.

The tribe will use the money to study the feasibility of a transit system in the Redwood National Park. The tribe appears to be the only recipient in Indian Country.

The money came from the Paul S. Sarbanes Transit in Parks Program. Congress created the program to address congestion in and around popular national parks, wildlife refuges, national forests, and other federal lands.
