Comanche Nation chairman wins reelection by one vote
The chairman of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma won his bid for re-election by one vote.

Willie Nelson defeated Johnnie Waqua by a vote of 220-219. Turnout was reported to be a record.

The election marked the first time the tribe used an electronic wristband system to vote. The proceedings were also streamed over the Internet.
