Man enters plea for assaulting woman on Red Lake Nation
A man pleaded guilty to one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury for attacking a woman on the Red Lake Nation in Minnesota.

Christopher Michael Strong, 31, admitted he beat and bit the woman, causing injuries to her head, neck, thorax, legs, shoulders, and arms. He also admitted the assault resulted in the woman experiencing extreme physical pain.

Authorities discovered the badly beaten woman in a home on the reservation on November 11, 2009. She had apparently been repeatedly beaten over the course of several days.

Strong faces up to 10 years in prison when he is sentenced.
