Indian students upset over fake tribal attire at UCSD event
The Native American Student Alliance at the University of California San Diego said students dressed up in fake "tribal" attire, including fake headdresses, at a recent event.

The Native students say they felt "mocked and ridiculed" by the behaviors at the Sun God Festival on May 14. About 20,000 people attended the event.

"This behavior is insensitive and hurtful, and goes against all of our work to achieve a more inclusive campus climate, the UCSD Chancellor's Office said in a statement after meeting with the Native students, 10 News reported.

Last month, students off-campus held a "ghetto" party that mocked Black History Month.
