Two incumbents ousted in Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe election
Members of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe of Minnesota ousted two incumbents in an election on Tuesday.

Secretary-treasurer Herb Weyaus lost his bid for re-election. Curt Kalk won by a 593-494 vote.

District III representative Harry Davis also lost his bid. Diane Gibbs won by a 156-118 vote.

District II representative Marvin Bruneau was the only incumbent who was re-elected. He defeated David Aubid by 9 votes.
