County in California offers a seat to tribes on lake advisory panel
Supervisors in Lake County, California are offering a seat to tribes on the Clear Lake Advisory Committee.

The tribes reportedly asked for individual seats. But the county wouldn't agree to the request and is only offering one position to the tribes.

"I hate to see the committee at a stalemate because of one issue," said Melissa Fulton, the chairwoman of the advisory committee, The Lake County Record-Bee reported.

The county is home to six Pomo tribes.
