New director of BIE to participate in live chat for Indian education
Keith Moore, the new director of the Bureau of Indian Education, will participate in a web chat on Indian education on August 11.

Moore, a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe of South Dakota, started his job at the BIE on June 1. The position had been vacant for nearly three years.

Education Week is hosting the live chat, which focuses on ways to improve achievement levels of Indian students.
