Sprint accuses Crow Creek Sioux telecom firm of phone scheme
Sprint is accusing a telecommunications company created by the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota of overbilling in a lawsuit filed in federal court.

Sprint says Native American Telecom has engaged in a practice called "traffic pumping." The Federal Communications Commission considers the practice to be legal but it apparently resulted in Sprint paying a large amount of fees to the tribal firm.

The lawsuit does not specify how much it wants back from Native American Telecom.
