Leech Lake Band in talks to host power line through the reservation
The Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Indians of Minnesota is reportedly in talks to host a power line on the reservation.

The tribe has been negotiating a right-of-way agreement with five utilities, Finance and Commerce reported. The deal would provide revenues for the tribe, jobs for tribal members and other benefits.

Some tribal members are opposed to the deal.
