Lawsuit alleges abuse at Cheyenne River Sioux detention center
A lawsuit against the federal government alleges a 12-year-old boy was abused at a juvenile detention center on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in South Dakota.

The boy was allegedly branded with a nail and sexually assaulted by two other juveniles. The lawsuit seeks $10 million in damages.

The lawsuit was filed by the boy's guardian.
