Grand Traverse Band tribal court sets hearing in election dispute
The tribal court of the The Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians of Michigan will hold a hearing on Monday in an election dispute, The Leelanau News reports.

The tribe held a general election on August 26. But a tribal member has accused the election board of “impropriety” during the election process.

Three council members are in limbo until the court resolves the dispute.
