Native enrollment at Central Michigan University grows slowly
American Indians and Alaska Natives make up a small part of the population at Central Michigan University but their numbers are slowly growing.

For fall 2010, 217 Native Americans have enrolled. That's only 1 percent of the entire student body.

Still, the numbers are up from fall 2009, when 176 were enrolled.
