Republicans gain majority in House while Democrats keep Senate
Republicans gained control of the House on Tuesday while Democrats maintained their slim majority in the Senate.

Republicans won at least 60 seats in the House, giving them at least 239 seats. But in the Senate, Democrats are expected to hold onto 51 seats.

Rep. John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) is now expected to become Speaker of the House. He does not have much of a record on Indian issues.
