Dry Creek Rancheria re-elects Harvey Hopkins to chairman's post
Members of the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians of California re-elected Harvey Hopkins as chaimran.

Hopkins had been ousted in a recall in May but he said the vote was invalid. The Bureau of Indian Affairs refused to intervene and the tribe held another election on Saturday.

"This election settles who is the chair," spokesperson Dave Hyams told The Santa Rosa Press-Democrat.

This will be Hopkins fourth consecutive term as chairman.
