US Attorney in South Dakota hosting first town hall on tribal issues
Brendan Johnson, the U.S. Attorney for South Dakota, is hosting his first town hall meeting on tribal issues today.

Johnson plans to hold regular meetings with tribes. He hopes to increase prosecutions in Indian Country, cooperate with tribal courts, address youth issues and combat violence against women.

The effort is part of Johnson's Community Prosecution Strategy for Indian Country, which he announced this summer.
