Pechanga Band donation of van to food pantry called 'a blessing'
The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians donated a $70,000 refrigerated van to a food pantry in southern California.

The Community Food Pantry of Murrieta had a 23-year-old truck that was falling apart. It recently broke down, limiting the delivery of food to low-income families.

The tribe stepped in with the van, which was presented to the organization last week. "It’s a blessing," family outreach director Catherine Mailliary told The Fallbrook Valley News. "It’s a true blessing that they’ve given us. This truck will help us process over 150,000 pounds of food each month."
