Lac Du Flambeau council member sentenced for fourth DUI incident

A council member for the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in Wisconsin was sentenced for his fourth drunken driving incident.

Joseph Wildcat Sr., 48, was ordered to give up driver's license for two years, pay $1,489 in fines, serve two years probation and complete an alcohol assessment. He will also spent 90 days in jail after pleading no contest in connection with the January 31, 2010, incident.

Wildcat, who was re-elected to the council last October, also faces charges in two other cases, News of the North reported.
