Third Colorado River woman sentenced as part of meth crackdown

A third woman from the Colorado River Indian Tribes has been sentenced in connection with a crackdown on methamphetamine on the reservation.

Rosie Cruz Leivas, 33, was sentenced to 57 months. She sold $3,500 worth of meth to an undercover agent while at her work in the tribe's farm office in Arizona.

Melody Stevens, 37, and Clorinda Nopah, 61, were previously sentenced as part of the crackdown.
