House Resources Committee holds hearing on Interior budget

The House Natural Resources Committee holds a hearing this Thursday, March 3, on the fiscal year 2012 budget request for the Interior Department.

The hearing will take place at 10:00am in Room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is scheduled to be the only witness.

The FY 2012 budget for DOI includes a 4.5 percent cut to the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
