Developer sues Seminole Tribe on failed Everglades resort

A developer has filed a lawsuit against the Seminole Tribe of Florida over a failed resort in the Everglades.

The Florida Everglades Resort was to be located on the Big Cypress Reservation. But tribal leaders decided not to go forward with the deal.

The lawsuit was filed in state court but is being moved to federal court at the tribe's request. The tribe is arguing that the development agreement was never approved by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
