Whaling crews from the Alaska Native village of Point Hope landed three whales within a week's time, The Anchorage Daily News reports.

Captain Herbert Kinneeveauk led a crew to capture a 28-foot whale on April 22. Two smaller whales were landed on April 28 and April 29.

"Everybody's still kind of tired and busy," Kinneeveauk told the paper.
