Ed Delgado outlines agenda as new chairman of Oneida Nation

Ed Delgado was inaugurated as chairman of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.

Delgado said he wants to protect the tribe's sovereignty, promote economic development and keep people on the reservation. He also said he wants to resolve disputes with local communities.

"Our reservation is 65,000 acres, every year we become more and more a minority," he said in his inaugural address, The Green Bay Press Gazette reported.

Delgado was elected last month.
