Zuni Pueblo puts leader on leave following drunken driving arrest





Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico has placed Lt. Gov. Willard Zunie on leave after he was arrested for a drunken driving incident off the reservation.

Zunie, 56, was stopped in Albuquerque last Wednesday afternoon. Police said he failed several field sobriety tests and had an open container of beer in his car.

Zunie has two prior DWI arrests, The Albuquerque Journal reported.
