Tribes in Wisconsin receive $2.4M in grants for housing projects





The Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded $2.4 million to four tribes in Wisconsin.

The Oneida Nation received $600,000. The tribe will use the money for senior and low-income housing.

The Ho-Chunk Nation, the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians and the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians also each received $600,000.
