Mitt Romney wins Republican primaries in Arizona, Michigan

Mitt Romney, a former governor of Massachusetts, reclaimed his status as the Republican presidential front-runner with primary victories in Arizona and Michigan on Tuesday.

Romney easily won Arizona, where he has the endorsement of controversial Gov. Jan Brewer (R). But he only narrowly won his home state of Michigan, where rival Rick Santorum threatened an upset.

Attention now turns to "Super Tuesday" on March 6, when Republican voters in eleven states head to the polls. Washington also has a primary this Friday.
