Cherokee Nation business CEO placed on administrative leave





David Stewart, the CEO of Cherokee Nation Businesses, has been placed on leave, The Cherokee Phoenix reports.

The board of directors held a special meeting today to place Stewart on leave for 30 days. No reason was given for the decision.

CNB Executive Vice President Shawn Slaton will serve as interim CEO while lawyers work out an agreement affecting Stewart, CNB Chairman Harold Ray Hart told the paper.
