Coeur d'Alene Tribe names Cody SiJohn to lead police force

The Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Idaho named Cody SiJohn as chief of police.

SiJohn, a tribal member, started his law enforcement career on the reservation. He served in the U.S. Army and recently worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs at the Indian Police Academy in New Mexico.

"Cody brings a wonderful depth and breadth of experience to this job that will help him to guide our tribal police force," Chairman Chief Allan told The Coeur d'Alene Press.
