Authorities look into disappearance of Osage Nation woman






Authorities in Oklahoma are searching for a woman from the Osage Nation who went missing over a week ago.

Walkeen Wahwassuck, 36, went to an appointment at the Indian Health Resource Center in Tulsa on March 14. She hasn't been seen since then.

“She didn’t show up or call into work the next day, and none of our family or friends here have seen or heard from her,” her uncle, Louis Gray, told Indian Country Today. “We’re really concerned about her, and we’ve been searching for her for a week now.”

Wahwassuck, a tribal employee, was last seen in a an-gold, four door, 2005 Chevrolet Malibu. The vehicle has an Osage Nation tag of ON10674.
