Inquest scheduled into officer's shooting of Chippewa Cree man





A coroner's inquest has been scheduled into a police officer's shooting of a member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana.

Edward Ronald Dale Stump, 24, was shot and killed by a Yellowstone County deputy in January. Stump reportedly fired a gun at the officer before being shot.

The inquest will determine whether the shooting was justified.
