Tulsa city council hosting Cherokee, Muscogee and Osage tribes

The city council in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is meeting with leaders of the Cherokee Nation, the Muscogee Nation and the Osage Nation.

The council met with the Cherokees last week at tribal headquarters in Tahlequah. "I think the meeting went extremely well," Chief Bill John Baker told The Tulsa World.

A meeting with Chief George Tiger takes place next Tuesday at Muscogee headquarters in Okmulgee. Osage Chief John D. Red Eagle will be coming to city hall next month.
