Police in Tesuque Pueblo arrested a man who is accused of killing a dog with a crowbar, The Santa Fe New Mexican reported.
Pat Jimenez, 55, allegedly jumped a fence and killed the 7-year-old Dalmatian mix It's not clear if the crime took place on the reservation or whether he was merely arrested on the reservation.
Jimenez is non-Indian so the crime is being prosecuted in state court. He's being held in Santa Fe County jail on animal cruelty charges.
