Tribal leaders pay at least $60K for meet with President Obama

Tribal leaders paid at least $60,000 each to meet with President Barack Obama in Washington, D.C., Indian Country Today reports.
Some 25 tribal leaders attended the meeting on July 18, bringing in at least $1.5 million to the Obama Victory Fund, ICT reported. The campaign did not release exact figures from the event.
Tribal leaders previously paid at least $15,000 to meet with Obama in January. A similar event was held with Vice President Joe Biden in October 2011.
