Seneca Nation reaches agreement with state for highway work

The
Seneca Nation and the state of New York reached agreement over a
Tribal
Employment Rights Ordinance.
The tribe and the state agreed to a TERO fee of 3 percent, according to news reports.
The tribe had been asking for 3.5 percent, which the state opposed.
The deal allows work to move forward on the $28.5 million Southern Tier Expressway repaving project.
