Rosebud Sioux Tribe keeping close on elders in late heat wave





The Rosebud Sioux Tribe is keeping a close eye on elders as an unusual late summer heat wave set across South Dakota.

“It’s pretty extreme,” spokesperson Alfred Walking Bull told the paper.

Today's high temperature is forecast to be 97 degrees. Tomorrow the high will reach 99 degrees, with temperatures in the 90s all weekend.
