SCIA sets confirmation hearing for Kevin Washburn to run BIA





The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold a confirmation hearing this Friday for Kevin Washburn to be Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs.

Washburn is a member of the Chickasaw Nation. If confirmed by the Senate, he will oversee the Bureau of Indian Affairs.

The hearing takes place at 2:30pm in Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building. A witness list hasn't been published.
