Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation picks permanent police chief





The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut has named a permanent police chief.

William Dittman has more than 30 years of law enforcement experience. He was named as interim chief in July.

The tribe's police department recently added five new officers.
