Soboba basketball star spends Thanksgiving at White House

Joseph Burton, a member of the
Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians
of California, spent Thanksgiving at the
White House after volunteering at a food bank in Washington, D.C.
Burton is a senior at
Oregon State University.
The head basketball coach is Craig Robinson, the brother of First Lady Michelle Obama.
Burton is the first member of his tribe to earn an athletic scholarship to a major university.
