Dennis Gingold withdraws as counsel in Cobell trust fund case

With the end of the litigation in sight, attorney Dennis Gingold has withdrawn from the Cobell trust fund lawsuit.

Gingold, a solo practitioner, has served as lead counsel since the lawsuit was filed in June 1996. Now that all appeals have been exhausted and a $3.4 billion settlement has been finalized, he filed a notice to withdraw from the case.

Attorneys from from the Kilpatrick Stockton firm, including Keith Harper, a member of the Cherokee Nation, will continue to work on the case.
