Northern Arapaho Tribe passes traditions to new generations

The Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming is ensuring its traditions are passed onto younger members.

So the tribe is hosting students at the Arapaho Experience Room in the Wind River Casino. Mary Cowboy shared Arapaho language, stories and culture with the group.

“That’s my culture,” Kieran McCorley, 7, a second-grade student, told County 10. “That’s Arapaho and I’m Arapaho.”
