Indian trust reform commission meets in Tennessee on April 29





The National Commission on Indian Trust Administration and Reform will meet April 29 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Among other topics, the commission will hear from members of the United South and Eastern Tribes about their trust reform priorities. More information can be found at the Federal Register notice below.

The commission was created by the $3.4 billion settlement to the Indian trust fund lawsuit. The panel will evaluate trust reform efforts at the Interior Department and make recommendations to move forward.
