Cherokee Nation won't disclose cost of property acquisition

Cherokee Nation Businesses won't disclose the purchase price of a recent acquisition.

CNB purchased the Cherry Springs Golf Course plus 325 acres on and around the property. News reports suggest the Cherokee Nation paid $8.5 million but terms aren't being discussed due to a non-disclosure agreement.

“We feel like it’s a great win for the Cherokee Nation and Cherokee Nation Businesses long term. We were able to buy at a great price the best and largest undeveloped acreage on Highway 62 that’s left out there,” CNB CEO Shawn Slaton told The Cherokee Phoenix.
