Ache community in Paraguay holds annual land celebration

An Ache community in Paraguay celebrated the anniversary of their land restoration efforts.

Ache families began occupying Kuetuvy 12 years ago. The government finally recognized their ownership of the land in 2011.

The community celebrated with a feast and a ceremony honoring its archers, who won a national contest in 2011.
