Students launch boycott of beer products due to Whiteclay

Students at three Nebraska universities and a high school are boycotting products made by Anheuser-Busch.

The students hope the boycott will stop the company from selling its products in Whiteclay. The town is close to the Pine Ridge Reservation, where liquor is outlawed.

“As consumers, we have the power to change an industry,” Creighton University senior David Fuxa said at a press conference, The Omaha World-Herald reported.
