Oneida Nation business looks at new site for recycling plant

The economic development corporation of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin is proposing a new site for a waste recycling plant.

Oneida Seven Generations Corp wants to locate the facility on the reservation. But the site is drawing concerns from tribal members and even Chairman Ed Delgado.

“I’m not saying I’m against it. I have questions about it," Delgado told The Green Bay Press-Gazette.

OSGC originally wanted to build in the city of Green Bay but the permit was rescinded amid controversy. The tribe filed a lawsuit but lost a decision earlier this month.
