UA News: Online course aimed at boosting tribal economies

The University of Arizona's Native Nations Institute is launching a new online course:
The new "Rebuilding Native Nations: Strategies for Governance and Development" course series builds on the landmark 2007 Rebuilding Native Nations book developed by the Native Nations Institute (NNI) and its partner organization, the Harvard Project on American Indian Economic Development.

"Almost immediately after we released that book, we tried to figure out how to build on it with a distance-learning component for anyone in Indian country who could stand to benefit from learning what is going on," said Ian Record, the curriculum's director.
