Yakama Nation shares per capita from trust fund settlement

The Yakama Nation of Washington shared its trust fund settlement with its members but the amount of the per capita payment was not reported.

The tribe settled its trust mismanagement case for $188 million. Tribal members were expected to receive thousands of dollars.

Tribal businesses and local business are expected to see a boost now that the payments have been made.
