Robert Odawi Porter, the former president of the Seneca Nation of New York, has joined SNR Denton.

Porter will serve as senior counsel in the firm's Native American Law and Policy practice and the Public Policy and Regulation practice. He will be working in the Washington, D.C., office.

"As a former tribal leader and tribal lawyer, I have fought my whole career for tribal sovereignty and treaty rights, and look forward to offering a unique new dimension to the firm's Indian law practice," Porter said in a press release.
